    I'm working on stitching some VR footage captured using a Kandao Obsidian Go, and being new to doing this, struggling a bit. It seems like the Go doesn't store metadata in its video files, and the Kandao Studio app is also having trouble getting the stitches right. Its stitches have some huge gaps in them, like they're dropping one camera angle or something. That part I pinged Kandao about, but in the mean time does anyone have any advice on getting started with the stitching? Thanks!

  6. Hi, I'm working on 360 video that was recorded on rig of six GoPro cameras. The recording was made at night, at one direction there was large flash of fire. Unfortunately, one of the cameras stopped working at the time of this flash, but fortunately it was faced in the opposite direction from the flash. Match Color function gives poor color alignment results across all cameras during this bright flash of fire. I have not yet found better option than step frame by frame and manually set values of Gain Stops/Temperature/Green Tint for each camera. But maybe there is some way to select time area and assign values to cameras in this area?

  7. I am really needy for opacity settings within a node to tweak the desired effect. For instance one of the node's I often use is the '3D LUT' node, and it would be really nice if there was a way to adjust the intensity from 0 to 100. Also if I import assets it would be nice if I could directly tweak te opacity of that clip. For most compositors it is super common to adjust the 'level','intensity' or do a 'Blend with Original' of the node directly. I know this can be done with the '3D comp' node, only sometimes's I like to keep the timeline clean and I need to work fast.     Just a bold wish! Wouldn't it be nice to have a range selection within the fixed vectors? (see the mockup I made) Full, High , Mid, Low based on the range selection? Usercase: For example when I have a bright yellow object I can tone it down and shift the hue's only in the yellow highlights? This way I can match the yellow tint with the yellow shade. I know it can be done with a using a key to select the bright yellows. But it would be nice if this would be possible in another way. Also the way without a key gives you the possibility to shift more colours in just one layer. And if this could translate to LUT exports? ? For Look creation?

    Hi overthere, I have a project in an immersion room (10 meters by 6 meters) for a museum in Tahiti, French Polynesia. 1) To be able to have a good resolution for the front wall, I wanted to have a 6K+ resolution camera like a panasonic S1H+16-35mm or the GH5+7-14mm with latest firmware. And for the other walls (left, right and ground), just have 3 x gopro8. I made some camera rigs (see attached files) 2) The other idea was to make a rig with the qoocam 8K underneath a real camera (S1H or GH5) and replace the Qoocam video part concerned by the real camera by the video outputted by this latest.   10. I already made a topic last year about Rec709 -> sRGB and color transform regarding Unicolor. Now I am working on a TVC shot on a Alexa in LogC and if I transform Arri LogC to Rec 709 I get a super contrasty result with the Unicolor. Versus using a 3D LUT provided by ARRI. My question is why is there such a big difference in the transformation? I really like to use the Unicolor since it is not LUT based, but that is only possible if it got the transformations right. (or am I doing something wrong here?)

  11. First, I really love working with Mistika 10, the new color interface is amazing! Since I am fully over to Mistika, I found some quirks and have some questions regarding my workflow. 1 Save on quit - Is there a setting for this? Sometimes I quit Mistika and find out I lost the last version of the project and I have to go back to the last autosave. Right now if I quit Mistika it doesn't save the project or giving me a reminder to save it. 2 Uber Key - Very often I like to adjust a animated mask after tracking and animating different points.     I am trying to replace one clip on the timeline without succes and I cant find out what I am doing wrong. I did replace clips in other projects without any problems, but this one is bugging me. 1- I am relinking the the "WOMAN%STEREO.mp4" (this comes from an external XML). Since the clip in the original version is a .mp4 I reconfirmed this clip to a prores "WOMAN_S.mov" If I try to relink the media I get "the metadata change dit not lead to any clip finding its media".   13. I have been searching if there is a super fast way to export a active frame. And I found the saving a image from the 'Record Monitor' super nice and fast. Very often I have to deliver a .jpeg screenshot or I need to import a .tiff into another program. And it would be great if there was a way I could change the output of .dpx to another format. Is this possible?

    Where are the raw parameters? I'm not seeing them anywhere for my Redcode clips. Is there a way to move the scopes to another monitor? It's not letting me drag them off of the main editor window to my 2nd screen.

    Hello, Does Mistika Boutique 10 support Blackmagic RAW format or not? I looked everywhere on your site and this is not mentioned at all?? Also do you support direct footage from BMPCC 6K or not. I tried to open the files and it shows garbage on the monitor. I’m using the evaluation version 10 license and on Windows 10 PC.

    I’m sure this is an easy one and I believe I have done it before. I have a track for grading the clips and another on top doing a global adjustment. How can I keep working on my grades track while viewing the result of the top one. Right now, even if I double click the top one, every time I go to the next clip the visual focus jumps down to the grades track. I am aware I can have a Display Filter doing the global adjustment, but want to be able to apply that adjustment in only some sections of the cut. Tx A

  25. Hola. No se si este es el foro adecuado para esta petición, pero como es el mas concurrido la pongo aquí. Es totalmente compresible el uso del inglés para la promoción de los productos de SGO, pero ya que es factible poner subtítulos en YouTube, por ejemplo, no estaría mal que una empresa española hiciera uso de esa opción. Dominando el idioma no creo que sea muy complicado añadir esos subtítulos. Yo creo que todos los interesados en Mistika del mundo hispano que desafortunadamente no tenemos muchos conocimientos de inglés les estaríamos muy agradecidos. Saludos
