Expanding with more Tangent Element Panels

Right now I am setting up a Tangent Element Panel, which feels super useful in Mistika.
From the documentation I read that for the best setup I need two more Bt Panels.

My question is if I also get a second Kb panel can I also map this panel?
Or with how many panels can I expand en keep on mapping?

( so I can build my own custom Arc ? )

SGO would have to confirm, but I believe 6 is the max at the moment. Mostly based that mConfig only has 6 fields to enter serial numbers into it. I assume this could be changed, and the Tangent Mapper certainly could handle additional knobs. That said, I would think first about what you want to assign those knobs? I've been customizing my layout significantly and don't think I'm terribly short on knobs.

Yes, I'm using the default Mistika setup with 6 parts:  BT-KB-BT-TK-MF-BT

It's definitely worth to have at least 1 extra BT panel so you have access to vectors and details. The 2nd extra BT is for history/versions. If you don't need that you could skip that - or you could use it for other functions if you remap everything. It's really easy to change your mapping now. You don't even have to quit Mistika. Just open Tangent Mapper and change things around to your heart's content.

Hey!

The Mistika default mapping is designed for six element units. I agree with Jan that another Knobs panel is not necessary. However, another Bt unit comes really in handy specially for the use of Printer Lights in the Primary grading. The third Bt unit, mapped for the Presets and History, can be somehow compensated with a proper use of the keyboard, since you can "map" fx presets with the numeric keyboard. If you need to know how, let me know ?

However, as Jan said, all buttons are fully customizable, you can make your own mapping.

There's this thread in the forums in which Jan kindly shared his mapping. Maybe you can share yours if you decide to do your own!

Cheers!

I'm afraid the Tangent Mapper is not supported by Mistika Ultima. However, there's a workaround for changing between different mappings. Please, submit a ticket to the support portal and we'll explain it in detail.

Best regards,
Cristóbal
