  4. Hi all,

A new release of Workflows Creator (Formerly Mistika Workflows) is now available, introducing new exciting features and improvements, such as the Workflows Runner application, New REST API V1, AS11 Broadcast Delivery, Native Apple Silicon and Metal support and so much more. You can download this version directly from your Online SGO Account.

    New Features

    • New Workflows Runner has been introduced, allowing workflows to be executed through the runner environment. This provides a more streamlined way to trigger and manage workflow executions. Explore more about Workflows Runner and download a version for your OS HERE.

    • A new REST API V1 is now available, providing programmatic access to the Workflows functionality. This API enables external systems to integrate and interact with Workflows through standard HTTP requests.

    • A new File Dropper node has been added to Workflows Runner to support drag-and-drop file handling. This enables users to manage input files more easily within workflow configurations.

    • An AS11 node has been added to encode AS11-compliant MXF files. This allows users to generate broadcast-ready AS11 outputs directly within workflows.

    • A NotchLC node has been introduced to support encoding and processing in the NotchLC format. This enables workflows that require NotchLC, subject to the appropriate licensing.

    Improvements

    • Transcode nodes now include 23.97 fps as a selectable option in the FrameRate pulldown menu. This allows users to create transcodes at 23.97 frames per second without manual workarounds.

    • Trim Media now updates its properties based on the input clip from upstream in the workflow. This ensures that the resulting media reflects the latest input metadata and parameters.

    • The default layout has been updated to provide an improved initial workspace configuration. Users will see the new layout automatically when accessing the interface without custom layout settings.

    • Permanent Errors handling has been added to the Python layer to improve error reporting. This enables clearer logging of issues originating from the action menu and other components.

    Fix

    • Resolved an issue where the TrimMedia node produced no output when all trim values were set to zero. The node now correctly generates media in this scenario, ensuring expected behavior for zero-value trims.
