My goal is to import a VR180 SBS video, analyze the mesh, align it over time, and then export it. All via a CLI, with the video file added via drag-and-drop and the output file named output-file.mp4 = input-file-mesh.mp4.

Hi,
Thanks for sharing the details of your intended workflow.

Unfortunately, this specific process cannot be fully automated through the Mistika VR CLI. Mistika VR does not expose the necessary controls through the command line to perform the complete workflow you describe, including analyzing the mesh, aligning it over time, and exporting the result.

There is also an additional step required for VR180 SBS material, as the appropriate preset needs to be loaded to correctly manage the SBS input before processing.

For this type of unattended, file-based workflow, I would recommend taking a look at Workflows Creator + Workflows Runner instead. Workflows is specifically designed to automate this kind of processing, allowing you to build a workflow that takes the input video, performs the required processing, and generates the output automatically. Runner can then execute the workflow without requiring manual interaction.

There is a 30-day trial available for Workflows Creator, while Workflows Runner is free and is already included with the Workflows Creator installer. This means you can use the trial period to build and test the workflow with your VR180 SBS material and see whether it fits your requirements.

If you'd like, you can open a support ticket and we can also help point you in the right direction for setting up this pipeline in Workflows Creator.

Best regards,
Cesar
