A new version of Mistika Workflows is now available, introducing Notch LC support, Frame.io v4, native Apple Silicon & Metal support, refined node organization and so much more. You can already download this version from your Online SGO Account.

New Features

  • Notch LC Node – New dedicated node for encoding and decoding Notch LC files, expanding support for high-performance intermediate codecs.

  • Stitch Auto Calibrate Node – Automatically calibrates VR camera setups, streamlining the stitching process.

  • Apply Mesh Node – Applies previously exported VR Mesh data to automate stereo correction in your workflows.

  • Stitch Align Mesh Node – Aligns and optimizes VR Mesh calibration for enhanced stereo accuracy.

  • Native Apple Silicon and Metal Support – Mistika Workflows now runs natively on macOS ARM devices, utilizing Metal for improved performance, stability, and efficiency.

  • SetUpdate Node – New node designed to improve data management and workflow updating flexibility.

Improvements

  • Reorganized Node Categories – All nodes have been restructured into clearer, more intuitive categories for easier navigation and discovery.

  • Node Properties Review – A full review of all node property structures has been completed to ensure consistency and clarity.

  • v4 Support – Updated Frame.io integration to fully support version 4, including improved authentication and project handling.

  • Visible Token Parameters – Token parameters such as padding=4 and parentFolder levels=4 are now displayed for easier customization.

  • FTP Node Split – The single FTP node has been replaced by FTP In and FTP Out nodes for more precise control of file transfer operations.

  • Transcode Nodes Update – Added “Write Script Only” option for generating scripts without executing them.

  • [cameraModel] Token – Now returns clean, non-decorated values for better integration in automated pipelines.

  • Canvas Enhancements – Improved scroll granularity and smoother zoom behavior.

Fixes & Stability Enhancements

  • macOS Issue Fix – Resolved a problem when turning the monitor off and back on while Mistika Workflows is running.

  • Remote Desktop Stability – Fixed issues occurring when initiating remote desktop connections or similar remote control tools.

  • Stop Button Behavior – The Stop command now properly terminates subprocesses launched by processing nodes.

  • Workflow Execution Control – Ensured that the workflow stops correctly when selected.

  • Python Node Review – All Python nodes now include the proper failedUPs and self.isCancelled() handling for robust error and cancellation management.

  • New Python Exposures:

    • tcSource property added to rndFile

    • getCustomEnvironmentVariables()and setCustomEnvironmentVariables() exposed to Python
